The second year students are preparing for the Regional Secondary Achievement Test(RSAT). It has a memorandum from the DepEd that we should have saturday classes in order to pass the said exam. It is composed of Mathematics, Science, English, Filipino, MAPEH and Araling Panlipunan or the Social Studies.
In our school, it is a part of our final grades, actually, 30% of our final grades will be coming from this test, Since our school is a Science curriculum School, we should beat the other public as well as the private schools.
Based on my observation, our teachers are also giving their full efforts just to give us the possible lessons that might be included in the exam.
We are very fortunate because we are learning things that we supposed to tackle when we become third years. Some of the lessons are hard to pick up but with the help of our teachers, some of them got easier.
Some of my classmates keep on telling me that when the RSAT day comes, we will get full due to the foods that we are going to eat yet I told them it is not the reason why we are here, “passing the exam” is our main goal.
I guess my classmates and I are ready for the exam and I am pretty sure that with the help of our teachers and parents as well as Jesus Christ, we can get high scores.
